Class Description
This class starts with short continuous “yoga/modern” based warm up exercises engaging the mind and inner core. Initially these exercises focus on the range of skeletal-muscular motion through sequential conical rotations, isolation, weight shifts and a grounded approach to a translucent and crisp technique. Subsequently, Love’s incorporates a clean and classical modern approach, with Pan African, Butoh, funk, blues and lyrical styles. Phrases range from intense, sensitive and expressive to athletic rhythmic punctuated or fluid. The goal; to break down our preconceptions of physical limitations and encourages the discovery of our deep breadth and inner power!
