Class Description: Intermediate & Advanced
Stephanie’s technique class is a contemporary release technique with a solid base in ballet. Class begins with a full-bodied warm-up designed to strengthen our core, find our breath and focus while simultaneously lengthening our muscles and finding an ease in our joints. We will explore dynamics, weight shifts, quick direction changes and performance qualities. Class will finish with a vigorous, high-energy dance phrase. My goal is to give students an enjoyable movement experience that is both physically challenging and supportive. I believe in positive reinforcement to create a safe environment where we can explore movement, take risks and continue to ask questions.
