Class Description: Beginner & Advanced Beginner
Sophia focuses her class on the exploration of classical ballet technique through a strong emphasis on basic placement and alignment. The class supports both the beginning ballet student and the experienced dancer by providing a constructive warm-up through guidance on healthy muscular usage and coordination. The acquisition of technique is facilitated with concentration on rhythm, phrasing, and musical dynamics. Sophia encourages students to develop a deeper understanding of movement as well as a meaningful appreciation of the art form of ballet in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
