There are a number of ways to support DNA - take class, see a show, become a member or DONATE! We appreciate your continuing support of our home for dance - and your home, too.

Because of your support, Dance New Amsterdam is moving forward and making strides towards recovery. We have signed contracts for new professional partnerships with Joffrey Ballet School, Bollywood Institute of Dance & Film, Tom Todoroff Acting Conservatory, USA Presenters, and FitEngine. We are working closely with Tribecca Performing Arts Center/BMCC as cultural partners and are creating deeper relationships with our local community businesses and families.

Here are a few answers to some frequently asked questions:

Q. Are we about to close?!
A. No! Our doors are open, and the money we’ve raised so far is helping us keep it that way.

Q. Are we out of the woods?!
A. Not yet. There is still the possibility of eventual eviction if we do not raise an additional $131,000.

Q. How can I help?!
A. Come to class, see a performance, bring a friend, give if you can, and pass the word!

Your donation to DNA transforms the lives of artists. With your contribution, DNA can continue its mission to support the dancer’s life, career, and longevity through high quality contemporary dance education, choreographic exploration, experimental performance, and artist/community services, fostering the development of new works through commissions, residences and subidized space.
