Theater Rental

The theater at Dance New Amsterdam is an intimate 130-seat performance venue. With versatile repertory lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, and adaptable seating, it is an ideal venue for dance performances of all kinds. Its affordable rates make it a perfect option for artists producing their own seasons. The theater is available for rent by commercial organizations, non-profit groups, and individuals/independent choreographers.

Dance New Amsterdam offers a variety of rental packages to better serve the diverse needs of individual artists working in the dance field. We have the capability to accommodate low-tech/in-progress showings, video and photo shoots, workshops, intensives, and full performance productions.

Rental Packages
Full Week — Sunday-Saturday
Half Week — Wednesday-Saturday
Hourly Rentals — Available Sunday-Saturday, 4 hour minimum per day

All production rentals include 1 light board operator and 1 sound board operator for all technical rehearsals and performances. Full Week and Half Week rentals include additional services and support:

- Box Office staff and support
- Advanced ticket sales online
- Promotion on DNA’s website
- Receptions

These services are also available for hourly rentals at additional fees.

Saturday-Sunday: 10:00am - 11:00pm

Booking and Payment Policies
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the dates and times of the rental. Additional booking fees may be applied to Hourly Rentals for prime weekdays. The entire rental fee for any rental is due prior to the rental period.
