Studio Rental

Dance New Amsterdam offers six climate-controlled studios fully equipped with mirrors, sprung marley or maple floors, and natural light. The studios may be booked through the front desk for rehearsals only (modern, ballet, Jazz, Hip hop, theater). Boom boxes are free of charge for members, or available for $6.00 per session for non-members. We provide a variety of other services and equipment upon request (see rates below). Food, drinks, street shoes, and smoking are not allowed in the studios, except when approved for special event rentals.

Booking Rehearsal rentals are booked through the front desk. Space for the following month becomes available on the 23rd of the month prior (subject to change).

All studio renters must complete a renter application. Application may be turned in to the front desk or emailed (as a scanned attachment with Rental Agreement signed) to space@dnadance.org. Renters must be approved prior to booking space, and will be contacted via phone or email once approved (within 1 business day).

Payment Policy
Space must be paid for or cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Renters with a credit card on file may pay upon arrival. Space must be paid for prior to entering the studio.

Special Rentals
DNA’s beautiful space can accommodate photo shoots, film shoots, and a variety of other events. These events must be booked through the Operations Manager, by emailing wkao@dnadance.org. Rates are starting rates.
