Kids @ DNA extends the educational mission of Dance New Amsterdam into children’s dance programming, encouraging each child to discover her/his own body – believing that EVERYONE can experience the joy of movement. Experiencing how to move within the body’s framework creates strong dancers who understand how to move in space with freedom and creative expression. DNA exists to support each individual dancers journey – and we love starting that journey with a child!

We invite you to discover Dance New Amsterdam – located in historic Downtown Manhattan, close to The Brooklyn Bridge, NY City Hall Park, World Trade Center, Century 21 dept. store, historic South Street Seaport and Wall Street to name a few. Where NYC began, we invite your dancers to begin their New York dance journey….come for a day…or 2…or maybe more! Let us create a program that addresses the goals and needs of your students - continuing the good work that you are doing in creating the next generation of dancers. We build conscious dancers…. we want every dancer to understand what we are asking them to do and perhaps more importantly…WHY we are asking them to do it.
