Apparatus Certification Course

The Steele Pilates Apparatus Certification Course
The Course will run for 6 months. During that time, we will meet the 3rd weekend of the month for 6 months: Saturday and Sundays from 10am-6pm.
Course breakdown
1. Basic Reformer / Cadillac Choreography
2. Intermediate Reformer / Cadillac Choreography
3. Chair / Barrel / Small Apparatus Choreography
4. Advanced Reformer / Cadillac Choreography
5. Client Protocols / Teaching and Cuing Skills
6. Challenging Client Protocols / Private and Group Class / Choreography Flow
Course Pre requisites
Current Pilates mat Certification*
Proof of Pilates Employment
2 Letters of Recommendation from Employers / Clients
Proof of 30 hours of Apparatus Self Practice* *
* Pilates Mat Instructors who are not certified through Steele Pilates, will need to take the Steele Pilates written test before being accepted into the course.
** This pre requisite will be waived for the September 09 class ONLY.

$50 administration fee payment

Course Requirements
Attendance at all Lecture / Demonstration Hours
80 hours of Self Practice
80 hours of Supervised Teaching
30 hours of Apprentice Teaching*
3 Written Exams (given throughout the course)
Practical Exam (after the completion of all hours)
* Can only start after supervised hours have been completed.
