DNA Mentorship offers our students the opportunity to work directly with one of DNA’s faculty members. Mentors provide structure and support for a committed dancer’s training by assisting in the development of individual curriculum, helping to set short and long-term goals, providing comprehensive feedback on technique, and encouraging self-evaluation.

Students of all levels and backgrounds are welcome to join the DNA Mentorship program.

Program Features

DNA Mentorship Card includes 10 classes + 2 mentorship hours for $199*

Visa Students: 2 mentorship hours = $70 (NO CLASS CARD)

Mentorship

Invaluable one-on-one attention from a faculty mentor, who will address student’s short and long term goals, monitor student’s progress in technique, observe student in classes and provide feedback.

2 mentorship hours include an initial intake/assessment (1st month), a class observation, and a feedback meeting.

In order to fully benefit from DNA Mentorship, students will be expected to attend their mentor’s class on a weekly basis.

Commitment

Minimum of 1 month.
Program may be extended indefinitely (subject to approval).

Purchase of additional discounted classes: 5 classes for $67.50*
(Unlimited offer).

* All cards purchased are valid throughout the month in progress

Mentors
Students will have the opportunity to request a mentor upon registration. Mentors will be assigned based on availability.

How to Register

Fill out registration & questionnaire form

Drop off filled out registration form at the front desk or with a School Department staff member (Carolyn Cryer, Florence Baratay or Anne Merrick), in the administrative office.

Registration form must be dropped off 15 days prior to the 1st of each month.

Once you have been assigned a mentor and notified, you can buy the DNA Mentorship Card at the front desk.
