WORK STUDY

Work study participation is a short term opportunity that allows many persons to work on an event by event basis. An application is required to participate in the program. All sign-up for events and tasks is managed through email only upon approval of the work study coordinator. You are not guaranteed a certain amount of hours, but we strive to give everyone an equal chance at earning work study compensation.

Dance New Amsterdam offers a variety of work study programs designed to provide professional and non-professional dancers the opportunity to take classes at a discounted rate. The program is open to all students, regardless of level of dance training. Depending on the work study task or event, you will be compensated with free, limited, or unlimited discounted classes ($6.00 each class).

Applicants must be responsible, prompt, have a positive attitude, and focus on each task at hand.

Dance New Amsterdam’s work study program offers a great opportunity to meet other students and receive dance training affordably.
