Dance New Amsterdam offers 6 climate-controlled studios fully equipped with mirrors, sprung marley or maple floors, and natural light. The studios can be used for rehearsals (modern, ballet, Jazz, Hip hop). Boom boxes are available for $5, or renters may provide their own sound systems. Food, drinks, street shoes, and smoking are not allowed in the studios.

Rehearsal Rates as of 1/1/10

Non-members - $19/ hour
Members - $15/hour
Staff, Faculty, and Visa students - $11/hour

Film Shoots - $100/hour
Photo Shoots - $50/hour
Auditions - $40/hour

Booking and payment policies

Space may be booked by phone or in person. Payments must be received 48 hours in advance of the rental date. If rentals are booked less than 48 hours in advance, payment is required at time of booking. Renter must cancel 24 hours in advance in order to receive credit (credit valid for one month).

Events, photo shoots, film shoots, etc.
Dance New Amsterdam’s beautiful space can also accommodate photo shoots, film shoots, and a variety of other events. Please note that rental rates for events, photo and film shoots differ from rehearsal prices.
