25 Years: From Dance Space to Dance New Amsterdam, A Day of Celebration

On October 24th, with support from Capezio, we opened our doors to dancers and dance lovers alike and offered an entire day of FREE classes with DNA’s incredible faculty. We sold special 25th Anniversary DNA t-shirts, raffled off great prizes, and capped off the day with a champagne toast courtesy of The Bubble Lounge. Throughout the day, visitors shared memories on the Interactive Timeline and reflected on the last 25 years, remembering how DNA was originally known as Dance Space and created by five visionary founders: Laurie De Vito, Michael Geiger, Danny Pepitone, Lynn Simonson and Charles Wright.

DNA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the first-rate faculty responsible for engineering Lower Manhattan’s leading dance experience. They graciously donated their time to give quality instruction to our community. We hope you will come back to take class with them again soon!
