DNA's Ongoing Series
As always, DNA continues its commitment to supporting the work of artists
at all stages in their development. From fresh, feedback-worthy works presented
through our open studio series, Works in Progress, to challenging and provocative
experimentation through Raw Material, we welcome you to taste the creative juices of
New York's up and comers. With two new series premiering this year - our Artist In
Residence (AIR) and Gene Pool concerts - there's art to suit the tastes of every
connoisseur.

Works in Progress
WIP is a first come, first booked studio series providing artists of all media and experience levels an opportunity
for feedback on new work. We are no longer accepting applications for the Works In Progress Spring 2007

Artists in Residence
The AIR Program combines DNA's tri-part mission of Create, Educate and Perform by offering artists class and studio time for study and conception,
rehearsal space, and administrative and technical support, and culminates in a formal performance. Artists in Residence
are selected through an annual application process; the 2007 application period is currently closed. 2006 Artists in Residence:
Sara Baird, Miguel Gutierrez, John Jasperse, Neta Pulvermacher, Deganit Shemy and Colleen Thomas.

Gene Pool
Gene Pool is an annual showcase tracing the diversity within
DNA by sampling the work of choreographers and teachers with longstanding relationships to DNA, and honoring those
who contribute in countless vital ways to the organization's success.

DNA Presents
Our newest and most thrilling initiative, DNA Presents marks our dedication to full presentation of
a wide range of national and international creative voices. This year, we have commissioned an
eclectic mix of abstract, modern, site-specific, adaptable, intriguing, collaborative and
multidisciplinary artists to share their visions with you. Don't miss this incredible opportunity
to sample the scene, DNA style.
